Bibles & Billiards (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates www.biblesandbilliards.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We may collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, form responses, interests, comments, messages, workshop registrations, purchase or membership status, and other information you send to us.

When you visit the site, we and our service providers may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers, and interaction data. We may also receive information from platforms or services you use to interact with us, subject to their settings and privacy policies.

How we use information

  • Provide pool instruction, faith and community content, workshop information, wellness updates, merchandise news, and other content you request.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website, forms, email communications, and offerings.
  • Understand audience interests and keep pool, faith, wellness, merchandise, and customer communications appropriately organized.
  • Respond to questions, provide support, administer purchases or memberships, and maintain business records.
  • Send marketing emails when you consent. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.
  • Comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect our rights and users.

Email and subscriber information

We use Kit (also known as ConvertKit) to collect and manage email subscriptions and send email. When you submit a Bibles & Billiards signup form, information such as your name, email address, selected interests, subscription status, and email engagement may be processed by Kit on our behalf. Kit may use cookies and similar technologies as described in its own privacy information.

Joining one interest list does not automatically mean that you asked to receive unrelated content. We aim to keep wellness-only subscribers separate from pool-only subscribers whenever possible. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Affiliate links, referrals, sponsorships, and compensation

Some links, recommendations, reviews, demonstrations, or other content may involve a material relationship with a third party. We may receive one-time or ongoing compensation, including commissions, referral credit, free or discounted products or services, sponsorship fees, or other benefits, if you click a link, make a purchase, sign up, or maintain a relationship with a recommended provider. This may include Rezealiant Living and other services or products we identify in the relevant content.

When a recommendation or link may compensate us, we will provide a clear disclosure close to that recommendation or link. A typical disclosure is: “Disclosure: I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link, at no additional cost to you.” The amount or duration of compensation may vary. Compensation does not increase the price you pay unless the offer clearly states otherwise, and it does not guarantee that a product or service is appropriate for you.

Our recommendations reflect our honest opinions and experiences. Individual disclosures provided with specific content are part of this policy. You should evaluate products and services independently and review the third party’s terms and privacy practices before purchasing or signing up.

Wellness information

Wellness content describes personal experiences and general information. It is not medical advice and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Personal results can be affected by diet, calorie intake, exercise, health conditions, medications, and other factors. Consult an appropriate health professional about your own circumstances.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our site and service providers may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, measure traffic and engagement, reduce spam, and attribute visits, referrals, or purchases. Affiliate links may place or read identifiers so a third party can determine whether a referral resulted in a signup or purchase. You can control cookies through your browser and any consent tools offered on the site, although blocking some cookies may affect functionality.

If you leave a comment, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience. WordPress login and editing features may also set functional cookies for authorized users.

Comments, media, and embedded content

When visitors leave comments, we may collect the information shown in the comment form along with IP address and browser information for spam detection. An anonymized version of an email address may be provided to Gravatar; if a comment is approved, the associated profile image may appear publicly.

If you upload an image, avoid including embedded location data. Visitors may be able to download and extract that data.

Pages may include content from other sites, such as videos, images, social posts, forms, or articles. Those providers may collect data, use cookies, and monitor your interaction as though you visited their sites directly.

How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, host content, manage email, prevent spam, analyze performance, process transactions, deliver products, run communities or courses, or provide customer support. These providers may process information only for their services and under their own applicable terms.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce agreements, prevent harm or fraud, or protect rights and safety. If the business or its assets are transferred, information may be included in that transaction subject to applicable law. We do not intentionally sell personal information for money.

External links and third-party services

Our website and emails may link to third-party sites or services, including social media, community, course, merchandise, payment, fulfillment, and referral providers. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide requested services, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect the site. Comment data may be retained so follow-up comments can be recognized. You may request deletion, subject to records we must or are permitted to retain.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails through the link in each message. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you provided, or ask questions about our practices. Rights vary by location, and we will respond as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Children’s privacy

This website and its email lists are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may be communicated by an additional notice when appropriate.
